My Newest Painting was Accepted!
I'm very excited to have had my latest painting I Look at You and It's Alright juried into the Oil Painters of America’s 2020 Eastern Regional Exhibition! Entries were from 32 States and 6 Canadian Provinces and from oil painters of the highest caliber.
I Look at You and It's Alright is 18 x 24 inches and oil on canvas. I begun the painting in May 2020 when our new Scotch Collie puppy was 4 months old, at the time it was during the toughest part of the pandemic lockdown for me. Early one day he was caught in the morning sun through our bedroom blinds, he looked up at me and in that moment everything felt beautiful and peaceful and happy. The song Lovely Day came to my mind!
